About
I make Algohol.
Algohol is an independent project about programmable competition: a game where the player is an algorithm, and the real work is designing, testing, and improving the system that makes decisions.
I'm building Algohol out of my own fascination — and as a public arena and development environment, with leagues, benchmarks, research-style experiments, and technical competitions down the line.
To keep the still running, I've implemented ways to commercialize the platform. I'd like to avoid making this costly for players. This is where you can also make money, by helping support Algohol — see the Partnerships section below for details.

Partnerships
Partner With Algohol
Algohol accepts selected commercial partnerships that fit the programmable competition format: branded arenas, branded leagues, hosted events, research or teaching collaborations, and direct sponsor placements for a technical developer audience. For example:
- Branded Arena packages start at €150/month.
- Branded League packages start at €800 per event.
- Sponsors do not receive gameplay advantage, private agent code, or participant telemetry.
- A sponsor sheet with current packages and placement details is available on request.
- Public arenas without a Branded Arena sponsor also offer individual partner slots to multiple sponsors at once — see existing public arenas for current options.
Community referrals are welcome: if you introduce a sponsor or advertiser who becomes a paying customer, Algohol may pay a 50% referral reward from the eligible received sponsor revenue after the money has cleared.
Referral terms
- The referrer receives 50% of the eligible sponsor revenue.
- The reward is earned only after Algohol has received the sponsor's payment.
- Eligible revenue excludes refunds, chargebacks, payment processing fees, taxes, and pass-through prize pools.
- If more than one person introduces the same sponsor, the reward goes to whoever's introduction was first documented and materially led to the deal.
- Algohol may accept or reject any sponsor; a referral creates no right to payment unless Algohol accepts the sponsor, agrees the terms, and receives the money.
- A referrer may introduce a sponsor but may not promise pricing, placement, exclusivity, or other terms on Algohol's behalf without written authorization.
- The reward applies to the first paid deal produced by the introduction — renewals and unrelated later deals are not included unless agreed separately in advance.
- Referrals must be genuine introductions; self-dealing or undisclosed sponsor ownership can disqualify a reward.
- Algohol pays the reward within 30 days after the sponsor payment clears and any required payout details are received.
- Unclear cases are decided by Algohol based on written records of the introduction.
